The Only Way Is Up!
January 18, 2012 at 9:00 am | Posted in Blogs | Leave a commentLooking at the news for a bit of inspiration for the blog this week depressed me; everything I read was negative, whether I was looking at general news, business, even technology – it was all doom and gloom!
So I say “Pah!” to it all! I’m not going to let the January Blues get me down… so the holiday season has been and gone (and yes I do miss all the pretty lights and festive spirit!) but I reckon there’s a lot to look forward to this year.
My goal is to start as I mean to go on! I’ve started my spring clean early and I’m getting organised. No more negative thinking for me, I’m combating the gloomy daily news with a new positive attitude! My New Year’s resolution is to connect better with people (and yes, maybe I could do with losing a few lbs too!), not just through Facebook, Twitter and the interweb, but using ‘old fashioned way’ with proper face-to-face meetings and the good old dog ‘n’ bone!
If I carry this through to my business life I think I could be in for a pretty good year – and that’s nothing to get blue about!
